It asked to access my contacts and files which I denied. It then request access to my SIM card, which I denied. I have since uninstalled the app since it wouldn't open. Shame interest in an alternative view of China.

Global times is a factory of fake news by Chinese government. It's a Chinese virus in the form of electronic media. It's a Chinese Wuhan virus. Don't install it. It might be stealing your sensative information by asking permission to your storage.It hangs your mobile. It reads the contents from your sd card. It can also modify or delete the contents of your sd card. It can take photos and video from your camera. It's a Chinese Spy app. Beware. Stay away from it.

Such a dumb source of news..replete with biased and false information..self proclaimed global..is actually a misnomer.. playstore should enable an option to give negative reviews in order to bring down overall rating and keep such malicious and worthless apps out of reach of general public.
