WHAT ARE NOVENAS?

Novenas are nine-day Catholic prayers through the intercession of a saint.

Millions of Catholics have had their prayers answered by God by invoking the intercession of the great saints of the Church. Jesus said, “where two or three are gathered together in my Name, there am I in the midst of them.” The Pray app enables friends and communities to pray novenas together for specific intentions.

Choose which saint you want to have pray for you, pick a prayer intention, and the app will supply you with each day’s prayer. Easy! The app will gently remind you when you haven’t prayed your novena prayer for the day.

Love it
Since finding this app, I have rarely skipped a Saint. Every saints story has something to offer us all. The prayers are the perfect length. Since I'm consistently in a novena (or 2 or 3) i find myself stopping into my adoration chapel daily. This app has so much to offer and I have definitely upgraded to a canonized member. Worth every dime. I recently found out, in a roundabout way, that the creator of this app is ultra personable with an amazing story!! I have a couple of good stories of cool things that happened through these novenas as well. I tell so many people about this app. Bonus points for the novenas that have different prayers for each day!!

I have beautiful novena leather bound prayer books, some handed down through the generations; however, the Pray App that includes Novena and Saint histories, the ability to add to your calendaring app, and in novena features to help you keep track of what day you’re on while simultaneously praying multiple novenas each day is a wonder. Also the ability to add your specific and unique intentions for a novena is a gift. God bless the product visionary, creator and developers of this app. Thank you!!! I like the music and artwork in the Amen App, I like many of the features in the Hallow app; and having been a subscriber to these and others can tell you with certainty that the PRAY app is the top choice for those specific wanting to grow their Novena prayer life. I just love this app! It helps me to keep track of novenas I am praying, links them right to my calendar. I do pay the small annual fee (which works out to be under $3 per month) so that I have access to all the novenas, and it is well worth the money. I especially love the fairly new feature which allows you to write your intention in each novena you are currently praying. But I went to look at the 3 Hail Mary novena to schedule it, and realized it did not have a space to enter an intention. I am sure this was just an oversight, or that you haven’t finished adding this feature to all the novenas yet. But I wanted to make you aware, in case it was just an oversight. I wasn’t sure how else to let you know other than through a review - still 5 stars, as this is very minor and not a complaint. God bless you for the wonderful work you do on this app.
