SafeSky is a real-time flight situation awareness for all pilots flying any type of aircraft.

This app is using your location in background mode so that your position can be shared with other pilots of the SafeSky network while in the air.

Whether we pilot a paraglider, airplane, hot-air balloon, ultralight aircraft, … through SafeSky we contribute to the safety of all by sharing our position in the sky anonymously.
The application works both on the plains and in the mountains using the internet network in flight. SafeSky is greatly efficient in high-density areas such as aerodromes or certain traffic crossings and convergence points.

Die App ist ein bisschen kompliziert aufzusetzen wenn man es zum Beispiel mit Skydemon koppelt aber es gibt viele Videos auf Youtube die einem das zeigen. Nach dem Eineichten funktioniert es super gut und man sieht auf dem SkyDemon Navigationsscreen andere Flieger. Extrem hilfreich und gibt einem ein bisschen mehr Sicherheit. Ich finds klasse. Hab auch gerne dafür gezahlt. Danke dafür.

Sehr geehrte Programmierer*innen, Garmin Pilot erwartet den TCP Port 4000 (und nicht TCP 2000, wie sonst üblich). Leider ist das in den öffentlichen Garmin Spezifikationen nicht dokumentiert. Wenn Sie dies entsprechend ändern, sollte die Kommunikation möglich sein. Wir konnten das mit einem (modifizierten) iLevil Gerät (GDL90 Format) erfolgreich testen. Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Glückwunsch! Habe lange auf so eine tolle APP gewartet. Funktioniert einwandfrei! Es erhöht die Flugsicherheit und ist für mich eine wertvolle Ergänzung im Flug. Weiter so… ich habe auch gerne für die App bezahlt obwohl dieses nicht zwingend notwendig ist. VG
