In terms of doing what it says, I'd say it's pretty good. I've had reasonable accuracy, I like the side-by-side comparisons, I like the amount of information given, it's pretty easy to use, and explicitly supporting fungi is pretty cool too. However, the intrusiveness of the ads and the frequent requests to pay for the app have made it too slow and frustrating to use. I don't use this often enough to justify paying for it. I swapped to a not-so-naggy free app that's at least as accurate.

The latest version has 3 serious errors. 1. The search feature does not work. Whether you enter an English or Latin name, you get a list of what appears to be every plant in the database. 2. When entering a name, you have to type very slowly; otherwise, letters that you type are just ignored. 3. When attempting to edit a mistyped word, the corrections are appended to the end of the word rather than the position that you requested. >>>>the search is still broken ( or broken again ).

I've used this app for years, only for the identification feature. It's consistently accurate and ALWAYS better than Google Lens! I've learned so much with this app. Thank you to the developers! Minus star is for the ads. They are a bit obtrusive. The app needs ads to keep being free, and I appreciate being able to use this app for free. If there's a way to minimize the ads while still making money off of them, that would be ideal. However, I still love this app and use it very often.
