Battle in multiple game modes
Gem Grab (3v3,5v5): Team up for real time 3v3 and 5v5 MOBA arena pvp battles against online players from across the world. Team up to battle and out strategize the opposing team. Collect and hold 10 gems to win, but get fragged and lose your gems.
Showdown (solo/duo): A MOBA battle royale style fight for survival. Collect power ups for your “brawler”. Grab a friend or play solo, be the last “brawler” standing in the rowdiest MOBA pvp battle royale yet. Winner takes it all!
Brawl Ball (3v3,5v5): It’s a whole new brawl game! Show off your soccer/football skills and score two goals before the other team. There are no red cards here.
Bounty (3v3,5v5): Battle to take out opponents and earn stars, but don’t let them pick you off. The squad with the most stars wins the match!
Heist (3v3,5v5): Protect your team’s safety and try to crack open your opponents’. Navigate the arena to sneak, blast, battle and blow your way clear to the enemies treasure.
Special MOBA Events: Limited time special MOBA pve and pvp arena battle game modes.
Championship Challenge: Join Brawl Stars’ esports scene with in game qualifiers!

performance_and_bugsservicenotificationsI liked playing when I started out. I would buy the brawl pass too. I won't anymore. the matchmaking is terrible, it lags even with phenomenal internet. the match making is somehow worse in events where you get tickets for a leaderboard. I have almost 20k trophies and I got placed in a match with a player who only had 800 trophies. TOTAL. even if you get star player when you lose, you don't get anything for it anymore. at that point what can you even do?

serviceI've been playing this game for years now, and it's been great fun. You can get some of the best characters early on for nothing but play time. There is a marked increase in "bot like" behaviour, where players either don't move, or run to a corner/wall and shoot in a single direction. This is becoming quite a problem now, spoiling a lot of games. Several of my clan have quit, stating on discord that this is one of their main frustrations with "Bad Randoms".

monetizationcontentfeature_requestsserviceThe June 2025 update has made a very fun game a hollow experience. Most in-game in-game progression is locked behind a paywall, and a ridiculous amount of rewards come in the form of randomized 'Starr Drops' that most often provide the user with little of substance. I didn't mind paying a small monthly fee to make the game fun, but now even the monthly pass does little to boost the experience. Hoping they fix this soon otherwise it will be an easy delete.
