Version 5.1.8
Battery UsageFeature RequestsHate itLove itPayment and BillingUpdatesTL;DR - Co-pilot is the best, does what I want, some quirks, better than the competition by a long shot. If you learn to use it (support is very helpful), you will love it. I am a very analytical person who has tried almost every budgeting app people have thrown my way. I started in excel sheets, then I moved on to a terrible system I made in notion, then every app I could find, then a flushed out system in Notion that I loved. I could not find a piece of software that did what I wanted it to do - then I found co-pilot. There are some quirks that I need to learn to work around, but even those get resolved in future updates (the dev team is on top of requests, support is unmatched). The monthly recaps are a godsend, as I often sit down once a month to review everything. Co-pilot essential spoon feeds you the recap. I love that I can track everything in one spot, split charges, add tags to internal transfers/income (makes categorizing credit card cash backs and earned interest very easy). All in all this is the best, I love it, and nothing I have used in the past has been this useful, this helpful, or this beautiful (seriously, the design is very pretty). Keep it up Co-pilot team!!

Version 5.1.7
Love itSpendingThe app basically tags your spending into different categories, and is good at it, but is light on keeping track of your budget vs actual spending. That isn’t to say it lacks those feature, but if you’re used to Quicken or Mint or any of the legacy budgeting apps, its budget analysis features are limited. If you’re single and have simple finances what they have is probably enough. The other thing that’s missing is support for joint accounts for couples to work together on shared expenses. The workaround requires two separate CoPilot subscriptions, one for her, and one for me, which is twice the work and twice the cost as we both end up having to categorize joint transactions. That being said, the functionality that is there works well once you get past some of the quirky UI behavior, and support does eventually get back to you.

Version 5.1.5
Hate itLove itUpdatesThis app shines when it comes to aggregating and categorizing transactions across all my accounts, and it runs reliably and beautifully on all devices. Yet it is not a one-stop personal finance app. I still use the very old but very capable Microsoft Money to fill the gaps, such as a more flexible system for setting up recurring transactions (not only expenses but income too) for cash flow forecasting (the month-based budgeting model in Copilot is too limited for me). Also some basic features such as the ability to categorize income or automatically clean up transaction names are somewhat frustratingly missing. That said, I remain a subscriber. The app has a great feedback system. The developer is responsive and regularly updates the app. I am hopeful one day this will grow into my one and only personal finance app.
