Been playing this game for a few days now and it's pretty fun! Ads aren't intrusive and are mostly kept voluntary for rewards in return(and pretty generous compared to other games I've played). Most of the dragons have unique designs and behaviors which make them fun to watch. And the art style is very charming, in my opinion, it gives heavy "old pc game" vibes.

I don't know if it's because of the most recent event, but the game is now crashing every couple of minutes, and it does not always save progress up the crash either. It's becoming increasingly annoying trying to find the event specific characters since every crash makes them spawn elsewhere on the islands. Please fix this! Edit: As of 8/27/25, this issue appears to have been resolved! The game is awesome!

I recently got back into dragonvale after a decade hiatus. I got access to my old account and also started a new park. This game has such a unique design and is incredibly nostalgic for me. I love that there's not a ton of pressure to spend money to get everything, as all dragons circle back seasonally, eventually. Its a very pastoral game, with a little patience. The odds of getting specific dragons aren't too low, and the addition of the rift really adds to the ability to get certain dragons.
