I HATE HATE HATE HATE the prompt “is this still available?” It’s such a waste of my time and encourages people to waste it! Over half the people that ask to buy something simply lose interest and stop responding. THAT question starts it. I have wasted hours of my life responding “yes” to that dumb question. And now the new template response, “yes are you still interested”?!? If they weren’t why did they ask to begin with?!? Questions I want to see are of buyers asking where and when to meet, etc or for more information, done. Fast and simple transaction. Not hemming and hawing for weeks. I know there are many other people like me who delete ads right after things are sold and are also frustrated by this, so PLEASE change it! Facebook is progressively becoming more of a clickbait ad site instead of a place to see and follow friends. Moreover Facebook is doing nothing about ad scams. I personally lost $80 from one of them selling inflatable kayaks I never got, and there’s a YETI one with fake Yeti bags they’re doing nothing about. I’m sick of ads in the marketplace such as Yumi or whatever it’s called. I accidentally click on it every time because it looks just like any other ad so then I have to close the link and get back to marketplace getting annoyed. I’m nearly to the point of deleting facebook. If so much of my life and that of my family wasn’t on here in timeline, I would.

I like Facebook as a platform for people to express themselves. The things I’m not a fan of especially are the lack of customer service and realistic resolutions for issues people face on this platform. There are a lot of bots that comment false reviews on products that deceive people in wasting their money. There are a lot of fake counts that put massive amounts of spam on different pages that cause viruses on people phones/computers and hack into your information. Peoples accounts are hacked and are unable to be retrieved, losing massive amounts of memories, pictures, friends and personal information that’s in the hands of who knows and where. The customer service is non existent. You don’t receive any resolution for any issues from actual people, it always results in checking help forums or talking to AI and not getting anything solved in an effective way. I see plenty of people who are flagged or in “Facebook jail” for minuscule reasons but bots and spam are able to continuously post without consequences. I think the way Facebook is run and handled is utterly careless and dismissive. I lost my old account to a hacker, where I lost thousands of pictures I can never get back and profiles of people who are no longer alive as well as messages. I’m highly disappointed with the lack of help I received and how I was treated as an inconvenience with no priority to help me retrieve everything I needed.

My feed has been completely dominated by ads and pages I do not follow, I got almost 2 thousand people added but barely see posts from them on my feed, just as I am aware my posts barely show to other people as well, likely a shadow ban as no post have the same reach as it used to have years ago. It doesn't even matter if I try to manually search for someone and interact, the feed is 90% pages I do not follow and often stuff that I don't even care about. Once in a while the app glitches, notifications are not reliable and sometimes don't show you comments people have made. Other times it takes hours to notify you of something. I've seen too many content that go against the community standards being accepted, which I reported and Facebook seemed to be okay with it because they say nothing was wrong about them. The review team is useless and biased, I already got banned from Facebook for telling jokes or talking about video games and the review team didn't care at all about any context, if there's one word they don't like it's bye bye. Not to mention when I criticized a movie few years ago and got banned without any explanation or even a chance for appeal to the decision. But when a friend of mine who is autistic got offended and received threats from a random dude, she was the one getting a restriction on her account and not the aggressor.
