At first, I liked your news app a lot I really did, but then with this whole political circus going on I was hoping that news app would actually be somebody that was biased and gave both sides of the news fairly so that people could make more informed decisions, but I’m seeing from you is the one sided, and clearly you are on the left side. There are people out there who depend on the news to help them determine what is best for not only themselves but our country as well all I can say is that I will be deleting your app as well my husband and my daughter and do better try to be fair because there are people out there who need to know I am not delusional. I know that both political sides lie, but that’s why some people depend on our new source to dig into those things find out the truth and post what’s going on not be a part of the finger pointing and assigning blame It’s really disappointing because when I first started this app, I thought you guys were great but I’ve seen other people saying your comment section is disgusting. The slurs that go on or gross and you seem to want to do nothing about it. Do better the people who depend on you to be honest, fair and to do your due diligence.

As the title suggests, the app will allow you to turn off certain settings in the notifications however the notifications themselves have three settings of frequency, “High, standard, and low.” Would be nice if we the users could turn them completely off/on. It can get overbearing getting the amount of notifications people still get even on the low setting. Would help during certain times throughout the day. The news updates are decent and all, however a lot of content is NOT fact checked beforehand. That being said take each article with a grain of salt. As so with any other “news outlet or app”, do your own research after reading an article on here. As for the most part it has been helpful to know about the crimes and other information that has been going on in my area. Especially since I don’t watch the news on TV and I don’t get the newspaper. It has been helpful being able to comment certain articles and speaking with others around my area or even across the world. However, as with all comment sections and threads, don’t mind the trolls and nut cases, and you’ll most likely find out that this app is pretty useful to you as well.

The app itself isn’t bad, but the advertising is faked to exploit people who are vulnerable. There was an ad for this app I saw where an elderly woman claimed there was an active shooter on the loose, while hiding under the blankets. Not to mention there were fake gun shots edited into the video, as if the shooter was in her home. Then the women claims the only reason she was informed about the shooter was through this app. Honestly, older people without a lot of knowledge on technology could really fall for this and feel like they have to get the app, or else something terrible will happen. Young kids also easily fall for this. Please be mindful about who your effecting with seemingness harmless clickbait. You’d think all you’re doing is deceiving people into getting your app, but think about people with past trauma relating to gun crimes. An ad like this could easily effect someone that was really involved in a shooting. Whoever is in charge of advertising is obviously an imbecile, or under 14. I ask you to take down that ad, and any similar ones. Also be extremely aware before posting something as harmful as this. Faking claims as serious as an active shooting can be punished by law.
