    SpendingWaiting

I have been trying to cancel this app for years now. For a while it wouldn't let me do it because there were still funds in there (1.80). I just used it up and all of a sudden I was "smart investing" and there was .01 in there. So I had to wait until that was sufficiently transferred over. The fee used to be 10.99 and it rose to 16.99 for an app I no longer use. I just want to stop paying for this service. edit: i finally was able to deactivate my account. but it won't let me permanently close.

This was incredibly hard to cancel! I don't recommend. So I didn't need the service much and it was so hard to cancel. The cancel button isn't easy to find. It's in the help center under deactivate and cancel. But if you search that in the search bard, it will just tellnyou how to find it. It wont give you the option. Then you need to enter your ssn, next, enter the last 4 of your albert card which was hard to find. Then your balance must be at zero which took days ti transfer things over.

Albert is now REQUIRING a subscription to Genius plus in order to even access the app. It was convenient source for an emergency extra $50 or so a paycheck but this feels like extortion. It was hard enough for me to justify 11.99 when all I used the app for is the cash advance. I'll probably have to set aside a day to cancel everything, too. I hear it's a nightmare to cancel
