If you don't pony up $, the game will take A LONG time before you're able to have equipment that can handle match play. Additionally, the upgrade system is complicated, but I like that depth in games. Fortunately, you're almost never locked out of playing due to lack of "energy" 4 star game. Could use more courses

Talk about trying to milk every last cent out of player's. Not only do you have to upgrade all of your golf clubs, but every component of every individual club, the grip, the shaft, the head etc.. and then after all that you need to Enhance the clubs for $. We are not done yet. Then Evolve the clubs, when you evolve Stat's start at zero again and you have to start paying all over again. Even to change out a club cost $400 gold. It's no wonder no one play's this game.

This is a demanding game, which requires skill, attention to detail, and calculations. It rewards good play, and penalizes errors--like any good game. The graphics are great, with 6 courses of increasing difficulty. The new feature of Practice is a welcome addition. The various players a very helpful, most of the time. I play every single day.
