ConfusingDeviceFeature RequestsLog InUpdatesI don't know what people are complaining about, this app works fine. For clarity, no, this app doesn't allow you to play PC games on mobile, because that's not how software works. It's basically the app version of the steam website, with some additional features. The QR code login feature is VERY convenient, as I frequently need to sign into my Steam account on other devices, and this app lets do it with the push of a button.

CameraFamilyLog InPrivacyNightmare to deal with. I don't play games on here often but when I do, it undoes the "save your information" every time forcing a log in with a long cryptic password that is never used. When utilizing the forgot your password, it forces the user to go through hoops every single time. It never has been simple where you get a code and go on. It has forced me to do a review process that takes ages. I've scanned a photo ID last time. Fed up with Steam and it's over the top security. I'm done.

BugsDeviceHate itPrivacyGot logged out of the mobile app and desktop at the same time, meaning I can't get a token. Literally every time I try to use another way, I get an email saying that "for my security" I can't recover the account via email or phone. I saved a recovery code. It doesn't work. Steam won't send a code to my phone, either. To top it off, you can't even use the Steam chat in this app anymore. Now it's a separate app. I've never used a worse app in my life.
