I love Acorn's selection but wished I could have it easier to access on other devices rather than just my phone. Specifically when using a fire tablet or Windows, I have to use a video player and it's very difficult to even trying using basic options for Acorn because they don't have the app available on those devices and the browser video player for Acorn is really difficult but as for content, I LOVE IT! I absolutely love shows like Murdoch Mysyeries, Harry Wild, & My Life is Murder!

It has some pretty decent shows on this app . I only watched the TV portion and not the movie but, the variety is quite nice. I'm just a cheapskate and have a hard time paying for so many apps in order to watch a few shows. I've had to weed through them and decide which one has the best selection of the shows I currently watch. If I ever drop Hulu or Netflix, this would be the one I would consider paying for. I just can't afford anymore right now. I wish I could!

Great programming, mediocre streaming. Of all the streaming apps I use, this is the absolute worst for functionality. It stops and restarts routinely through every show. I do not have that experience with Britbox, PBS passport, Netflix, or Amazon Prime. I dont understand why this platform is so persnickety. It's only the quality of the actual programming that is enjoyable. update 14April 2025 - the platform is getting worse so that even the excellent programs almost don't make this worthwhile.
