game_progressionmonetizationperformance_and_bugsI love this game's theme and feel, but that's if you can actually play it! If you lose one game you have to either pay or wait four hours just to immediately lose again. I can not progress at all in the league beyond tier 1 and it's frustrating! And judging by some of the other reviews, I'm not the only one who feels this way. You shouldn't have to pay 50 dollars (exaggerating...to a degree) just to play a couple of rummy games.

advertisementsperformance_and_bugsFar, far too many ads. If it's not an unskippable ad after one or two games, the in-app shop will be pushing something in your face. The chips system is very cheap. If you have a bad run and lose all your chips, you have to wait 4 hours for enough free chips to play one more round. Ouch! If I wanted to gamble pretend chips, I'd download a poker app. Credit where it's due - the design is gorgeous, and the general UX is excellent, but is outweighed by the heavy-handed freemium model.

game_progressionperformance_and_bugsI use to love playing this game but not anymore since they changed the amount of the entry/betting levels. They use to have a level that was only 450 or so coins to play. That way if you ran out of money you could always play this level to build back up. Now the entry is so high you can't play if you run out of money because it takes 4 hours to get free play again. Then it only gives you 500 every 4 hours so you have to wait 8 or 12 hours to get enough money just to play the lowest level.
