I have tried really hard to level up characters and get new ones. 100% PAY TO WIN!! I don't see how anyone can get anywhere without paying for everything. Every screen has something to buy. I have spent hundreds of the triangle things and out of these draws, I can't even get the common or rare characters I need to upgrade. I get them to level 8 or 9 and never draw another card. The new Legendary characters are impossible to get without spending money or maybe spending every waking hour playing.

Game is completely pay to win. If you don't have better cards then your opponent you're at a heavy disadvantage. Also, the majority of the items like chests or coins are locked behind ads or paying with money. Another huge issue is the luck component. You could completely lose a game if your opponent gets good character drops while you get absolutely nothing that can advance your merging ability. This happens way too often, which makes this game incredibly frustrating to play.

TLDR: good concept, poor execution. Absolutely F this game. The number of ads necessary to stay competitive is mind-boggling, and they sometimes crash. Far more often is when they force you to the app store, which restarts the game with no rewards. Pay scale is horrendous, and they have temp subscriptions(which they give you a taste of as rewards sometimes) to even be able to enjoy the game casually. Hero rarity damn near determines victory, but the strategy element is endearing and well done.
