Spirit has been making a lot of changes and, overall, they seem to be traveling in the right direction... from new planes, updated options for bundling baggage, boarding and seat selection while loosening up on their formerly, restrictive policies on advanced bookings and points usage, and still offering affordable prices, I'll bet they won't be flying under the radar for long, as the best value airline out there...

Terrible app experience. Wouldn't allow me to check in. tried 6 times night before flight. Initially, wouldn't allow me to pay for a picked seat, then wouldn't allow me to remove the seat. Wouldn't allow me to add a card payment. Tried 2 different cards multiple times to no avail. Closed the app & tried again a few times, still didn't work. The seat was stuck in the cart. Waited until day of flight to try again & was allowed the 7th time, but was forced to purchase the seat in order to check in.

this trip was so hard to book. yesterday. spent 3 hours. The web didn't work, when I went to chat they told me they would send me a payment link but instead I got an error saying that they were having system problems, after 3 hours they transferred me to a actual person I could talk to, but when they told me that they couldn't complete the reservation I just gave up. today I used the app The app kept timing out. if I hadn't been booking for a group I would have give up again.
