Tried this out, loaded $15 into the app and was charged $7.60 to use a scooter. I scanned the code and it "activated" and started a timer charging me, but the scooter refused to work. I tried to cancel but there didn't seem to be an option. I contacted the help page but the app is so poorly optimized that the keyboard covers you're message. I reported the issue to their chat and they never replied.

I was excited to try this for the first time. But found that the app is not user friendly, it was very confusing. I purchased a group ride for 2 people,($19) but upon trying to connect our birds, it started a new charge, which ended up being an additional $48. And we paused and had issues resuming and upon scanning to get the bird started again there was an additional $16 charge 😏. Since this is used recreationaly I think the app needs to be simplified for users. I am currently disputing charge

The rides are super fun and convenient but it's way too expensive for my developing country, it's basically same as or more expensive than a taxi here. At least not having the "starting fee" would be nice. Also the app charges you for an extra minute even if you're over last minute by a second, and the app takes 10s of seconds to end the ride (even though my network connection is good), which are included in the ride duration.
