Nice idea with the skill tree. But what about all the resources and effort advanced players have invested? Also, the previous update slowed progress DRAMATICALLY. Level 100 for advancing the experience gain?? You quartered the levels; now it's just becoming too much of a grind. Focus on new ships and weapons again, please? And all this excess "technology" is adding up. Why can't we sell them again??

I once loved this game but after 4 years of being away I return to find new factions that seem built to be as unfair as possible. 3 star veterans that can melt capital ships in second and out pase the fastest ships you can possibly make. The thing that finally killed my enjoyment if finding a 3 star veteran CAPITAL SHIP IN A EXPEDITION! A required mechanic to get the gear needed to even have a chance of seeing the last faction yet alone even beating them and you want us to some how fight this?

This was a huge childhood game of mine and I recently downloaded it and, oh boy, do I feel both nostalgia and love from this game. The map and types of encounters feel endless and the fact that I can design my own ships to my liking is wonderful. Despite the praise, there is a few things that I'd like: More music! I love the indie, space feel of the music and I want more. There is also a bug where drones/clones attack the host ship (me). It's annoying and it being fixed would be amazing.
