downloaded again after a very long time playing in the past, lots of cool new units and events but the level disparity is HUGE. currently level 40 and keep getting opponents level 55+. even with the statue boosts and maxed units for my current hq, it's not enough for a win. Clash of Clans at least lets you swap opponents if you know you can't take on the base. this game lets you ONCE per day. if it weren't for that, it'd be more enjoyable.

PUT IT BACK!!! The new way to earn upgrade tokens in the ship battles suck... tokens should be "Spoils Of War" earnings... not levels... I'm a Veteran player and I do spend money...every month on the game because it's really cool and I've really enjoyed... until now. the ship battles are what I've always looked forward too but you just took away a chunk of motivation to play... Upgrade as you defeat your opponent... not once you reach the next 5 levels... the old way was more fun.

Long time, casual player of Boom Beach. As others have said, the imitation bases have been bugged for a while now, making the game frustrating with its difficulty level. Normally, you could 'downgrade' the threat level when bases get too difficult but this option seems to be missing now. The imitation bases are also the same ones from the previous weeks.
