I love the concept and it does a great job using your voice to do covers and making you sound like you and sound like you can sing. You can obviously use it to match other singers voices to other songs which is cool. The problem is they don’t give much direction in the beginning and you get a one off chance when your reading the silly app description out loud to record your voice. You can’t add any other voice unless you pay quite a fee. You can’t edit your own voice like it has you to believe. So the app is great as is if they didn’t mislead you to think it can do more or that you can be shown how to use it properly right off to get best results but it’s obviously set up to get you to want to pay. I spent $40 and still only one voice for the price

My first impressions well first of all, of course like every other app on the platform they have you pay for a subscription to use it and then once you do that thinking you’re about to make your custom voice clone, you go through the steps they tell you to do like record your voice and read from the script and then once you do all the work then you’re hit with a you guessed it another paywall. Yep, another five bucks to use your cloned voice. So right off the rip, 1st impression is money hungry, misleading, scammy. And once your voice-cloned song was complete, you could download it, but now you can’t even download them. So what’s the point of this app? Or even using this app when you can’t even save your songs? I told Support about this issue, only to be told, “You snooze, you lose.” Pretty much, and nothing has ever been done about it. It’s a shame because out of all the voice cloning apps I’ve tried, this one was the only one that did pretty well, other than the misleading, overcharging, and scam vibes. They seemed to have it going on. But as far as a platform, it was awesome until they stopped letting you download them when you were done, and once you made them, I don’t know, it is what it is. I, of course, deleted the app from my phone because there’s no point in it; you can’t save your work.

There’s something to be said about free samples, like the person that hands out bite sizes pieces of teriyaki chicken in a mall food court. As I wonder around trying to find something to satisfy my hunger, it’s often the teriyaki sample that wins me over. This app doesn’t do that— it asks for money up front, you of course can close the window and progress into the app, but don’t worry, that subscription window will be back. It will then ask you for a sample of your voice, which takes about 2-3 minutes, then it requires your picture to go with your voice when you move to the next page, and then that’s the end of the sample experience; that subscription box come back and asks for either a weekly or yearly commitment. It doesn’t process your voice and gives you a taste of its capabilities, presenting the user with that “shock” experience, just a concrete wall that requires you to pay without having a peek of what’s on the other side. This app doesn’t just not offer a sample, but asks you for a sample, and then abruptly asks for your investment for the experience. It was a waste of my time and curiosity, and it was enough of a disappointment that I gave more time to warn anyone who reads this to ignore the glimmer and go spend your money on something that will give you a 10billion times better experience — a teriyaki chicken meal from your local food court.
