This app mostly does what you want as a media player. I have issues buffering on Locals, when compared to YouTube, Spotify, and others, especially when switching from Wifi to mobile data. While other players seem to have runway to allow a seemless switch, Locals stops, and typically requires a reboot of the app to resume playback. Other players allow downloading for offline playback, Locals does not to my knowledge. *Edit: Latest update fixed comment drafts that weren't saving! Nice work Locals!

overall a good app. followed some youtubers here that had their content restricted and eventually fully booted off of the platform for what people still do today, glad i can still support them through this app. Only comlaint is app can be kinda glitchy when using anything other than my standard phone like a tab / windows laptop / or even my z fold with the screen unfolded and on smart tv. but i do like that theres the effort of having the support on all the devices ive tried it on.

Loved the app! Free speech, great channels. Easy usability. Video play was always an issue. Had to fight it if I wasn't on wifi. I heard the update sucked so I held off, but they forced the update last night and I can see why people didn't like it. Can't find anything. One wrong swipe and you're in somewhere random. Extra tabs. It reset my settings, so I had to figure out the extra steps to reset them. If video play isn't any better, not sure if I'll keep it.
