As a premium subscriber through the developer's partnership with Dashlane, it works well enough for my needs. However, researching the more popular and costly VPNs (Nord, Express, etc.), the shortcomings of this one do show through more clearly. The biggest flaw, for me, is the lack of any option to change DNS servers, as I find Hotspot's to be fairly weak in comparison to even some free DNS server providers, and lacks any customisation feature to reinforce such.

Nice idea, but in reality doesn't work. While turned on, seems like every service knows I'm using a vpn and blocks me, so I have to turn it off. Not very secure. I'm on holiday at the moment, so hoped I could set my location as back in the UK, but it doesn't work. Also things like streaming doesn't work. It's like it's on a vpn black list. If I'm just browsing the Web it's fine, but do I really need a vpn for that? I'm using premium, free with Dashlane.

Pros: delivers fast speeds. Cons: high latency and unreliable connection. I had it set to always on with kill switch active and it would regularly lose connection and not reconnect until I opened the app and manually reconnected, and even then, I frequently had difficulty getting it to reconnect. And for whatever it's worth, I was using the premium version.
