it's a helpful app. it's nice being able to control your car from inside, but it basically requires total control of your device, and when you turn on your car, be ready to receive multiple notifications. also, it disconnects your phone from your car randomly making you reconnect a couple times a week.

2025 Updated review: Still shocked that this is a Toyota product and still complete garbage they actually make you pay for. Can't believe there is a worse app than Volvo, but Toyota takes the top spot. It's that bad. Sometimes it decides not to work at all. Navigation is clunky and needs to be modernized and the recent updates somehow made it WORSE But beyond that it's constantly crashing (Android) and services are frequently missing or buggy. Start over.

Update: An update was done, but the pay feature STILL doesn't work. I tried to use the online website, but can't remember my username and going through the email steps they say "your username is ___". Literally, just blank. No username attached. I'd give negative stars if I could at this point. The pay feature doesn't work. Hasn't worked in months, just says something went wrong on their end and to try again later. I used to be able to start and lock from the app but that's now extra I guess
