Diese Scanner-App ist wirklich genial! Ich behaupte, ich habe sie alle getestet. Der Preis ist freilich anspruchsvoll. Nach langer Überlegung habe ich mich allerdings zur Investition entschieden. Dafür ist insbesondere die Cloud-OCR einfach nur gigantisch. Wohl das Beste, was sich mit den Möglichkeiten iPhone und Cloud-Server realisieren lässt. Ich habe das mit verschiedenen Sprachen probiert. Bei jeder App gibt es andere Probleme, manchmal wird kein einziger Absatz erkannt, manchmal müsste jeder deutscher Umlaute nachgearbeitet werden. Bei dieser App ist das Ergebnis um Längen voraus. Und weniger Nacharbeit spart viel Zeit. – Was ich mir wünschen würde: Cloud-Speicher nicht nur zum Export, sondern auch zum Import von einzelnen bereits vorhandenen PDF verwenden, um dort noch OCR durchführen zu können. Vielleicht lässt sich das in der Zukunft noch realisieren. – Wo man die App noch perfektionieren könnte? Beim Scannen sind andere mittlerweile besser. Aber bei OCR hat eindeutig diese App nach wie vor die Nase vorne, um Längen, das kann ich seit ein paar Jahren nun schon bestätigen. Gigantisch wäre aber, wenn auch das Scannen nochmals verbessert würde.

Auf der Baustelle schnell einmal schnell Dokumente im A4-Format scannen klappt perfekt. Die Verzerrungkorrektur läßt alles einwandfrei eben erscheinen. Super! Wünschenswert wäre zukünftig auch eine App zum Abfotografieren von größeren Plänen. Hiefür reicht bisher die Technik in den Geräten wohl aber noch nicht aus. Bei A0-Plänen ist die Auflösung z.B. beim Iphone 8 viel zu gering. Man erkennt Details dann leider nur sehr schlecht.

Das rechtwinklige Ausrichten (Paralaxe-Korrektur) ist genial und kenne ich nur von dieser App. Volle Punkte. Selbst dem guten Bildbearbeitungsprogramm einer großen Suchmaschine fehlt diese wichtige Funktion. Allerdings braucht man für diese Bearbeitung eine sehr ruhige Hand, manchmal ist es Glückssache, die Ecke zu treffen. Ich wünsche mir deshalb für das nächste Update eine Verdoppelung des Zooms in den Ecken und insbesondere eine Streckung der Fingerbewegung (für Ecken- und Seitenverschiebungen) auf das Dreifache.
