After tapping athlete’s photo on grade page, app freezes

I think the Athletic has some of the best sport writers in the business but there are two glaring problems with this app that is forcing me to cancel my subscription. First is that even though you turn off scores in the settings your team’s score is still displayed when you’re looking at articles related to your favorite team. Second, even though auto play is turned off, I still get videos popping up while I am reading an article (despite not being on wifi). As a result, my data has seen a significant increase since installing this app. It’s unfortunate that such good writing has been overshadowed by these two things. Perhaps I’ll be back again once these have been resolved.
