I have a 2019 EcoSport with Sync3, and after some updates, tweaks, and driving a car that did not have anything like it, FordPass is an exceptional driving companion. I am can switch between map software, listen to books, music, or just just the satellite radio play. I appreciate the heads up for tire pressure, oil changes and that scary engine oil pressure issue from the recall. I wish I had more useful mobile apps when only connected by BT.

The tracking no longer works well. That's really the only good use for this app. Now it just refuses to use real time. It tells me where my car was 18 minutes ago, or 30 minutes ago. That's useless. it was always accurate before they decided to update it. I was hoping it would start working right again, but no such luck so far. It's been awhile. 😒

I used to like this app, but Ford updated it recently and really took a chainsaw to it. It is simple though I now have to click more buttons to find the trunk button. For ev drivers like me instead of improving the route planning, Ford just got rid of if it. That actually makes that harder. Also, it's really hard to extend the climate for 15 more minutes. Not great. Update: some things are faster, but still not as good as the old app.
