A friend said this app encouraged more thoughtful consideration than the rest so I gave it a try. I like some of its ideas, but it’s mostly the same monetized gacha mechanics as any other dating app. The limited daily batches is nice, and does kind of encourage slowing down and putting some thought in. But it routinely pesters you to upgrade for unlimited suggestions (basically asking you to pay a subscription to get the same functionality that Tinder and Bumble do for free), and has a notification telling you to make it part of your daily routine to take 5 minutes to review all 24 suggestions, which doesn’t exactly sound thoughtful. Beyond that, there are confusing and sketchy aspects to it: If I get a match because someone likes me, why do they not show up in my Likes panel? Why do the people who ARE in my likes panel not come up in my suggestions? Are they even real, or is that panel just bait to get me to pay up? There’s a ton of that throughout the app. I would really rather just pay a flat fee, or watch ads, then get flooded with microtransactions. It’s hard to trust this developer wants people to find genuine connection when that’s at direct odds with their business model of stringing people along long enough to make them pay.

I have been matched with a lot off Asian men since they are my type and we both send a like and we start a chat for about a day then they ask you if you have WhatsApp. Then we start a chat for a few days they are nice to you in the beginning. You ask questions they reply but if you want to know more about them they cut you off with some other conversation. Little by little they start talking to you about financial stuff like they want to help you for your retirement and help you make more money. I caught on right away but I played there game to see how far they will go. And they start being hostile and saying you have to do what I say. I always replied I am not comfortable talking about financial stuff and they will tell you that you don’t trust them they even do video calls with you. Every single person I was matched with about 16 men CMB sent me an email that they were reported. For all the women out there be careful who you get matched with most off the men I chatted with were very handsome and the profile photos are fake there background is always somewhere traveling. A good hint to check if it’s really or not the pictures will look more normal like a in there own home or somewhere more natural. It’s a disappointment to pay all this money and most of them are fake I recommend to CMB to be more careful on who is in there platform. Because a lot a woman get scammed by them.

I engaged with other profiles every day for a month since I downloaded and paid for the service. I got matched with roughly 10 women in the first two weeks and then it dropped to zero for the next week. When the dry spell continued for another week, I reached out to the customer service which kept repeating that I had to update my profile and add more pictures and they do not deprioritize profiles. When I pressed for numbers they came back and said that 38 women interacted with my profile "since last week" (whatever that means) and they all passed on me. I was like, really? All 38 of them? And also why so few? Are all the flowers and likes reaching them? They had no answer. I noticed that more women get dropped on the suggested tab after buying a few beans here and there. The app is purely exploitative of people who are just looking for meaningful connections. After some back and forth with the incompetent and heartless customer service (are they bots?) I decided to delete my app and asked for a refund, which was granted by Apple with no question asked. There must be a lot of people with similar issues with this app, hence the swift refund by Apple. I see a lot of folks who gave just one star but in reality they probably wanted to give no star. They'd better put their act together soon or the word gets out and will go belly up soon.
