Used to work pretty well. Then a few days ago it suddenly quit updating my gold card balance. Just came up with an error message saying something about may not work right but they're trying to fix it or something like that. It's been stuck on the same balance for 4 days at least now even though I've spent and added at least twice. I have to go to the website to do anything. And even that won't show the card barcode half the time so if I order at the stores I can't scan to earn stars.

Not sure what is happening lately but it seems that they don't care about the app functioning anymore based on my experience and other reviews. For weeks it says that there's no stores around (even though the stores confirm they're available for orders) and now it won't let me add my gift card to my account. I reinstalled the app (again) and it fixed the store issue but now I lost all my points. Super frustrating.

App functions ok. But they rarely have offers anymore. They falsely advertise that they do have offers, but they are really just ads/promotions of products (which don't even align to my historical purchases) with no incentive to purchase or try. And it's pretty impossible to earn meaningful amounts of stars anymore. So...no real purpose to the app except as a way to receive forced Starbucks ads. Big time turnoff. I'll probably end up deleting it if they don't make changes soon.
