    I’ve had the fidelity app for the last few months since opening two accounts with them and have had such a wonderful experience. While the computer interface is undoubtedly easier to navigate, the app is still incredibly easy to use and super accessible. Beyond that though, my experience with their customer service today was fantastic. I needed help closing an account, and was dreading the typical 30 minutes with an AI chat bot before getting to a real person, or spending an insane amount of time looking for a phone number that’s no where to be found (as has been my experience with customer service almost everywhere the past few years). But, I found a phone number right away, called them, spoke with an absurdly kind agent right away, who was able to transfer me to another, even kinder person who was able to help. He even pointed out two issues I didn’t even realize I had, and solved them without me asking. The whole thing took 10 minutes and as someone with insane phone anxiety I genuinely couldn’t believe how great the experience was. All that to say, I have been pleasantly surprised at every turn with this company and I will continue to sing their praises from the rooftop to anyone who asks!

    I like Fidelity investments and the products that they have, however with the credit card services by UMB bank, which is not really Fidelity I have been having a lot of card fraud. More than ever in the past and I’ve had a lot of credit cards. The new cards take a while to arrive and since they’re not part of Fidelity, they don’t seem to have the expeditiousness needed to forward you a card as quickly as possible. I’m used to working with American Express and while I work overseas, I have been comforted by the ability to receive a card overseas overnight via FedEx. Having to wait almost 2 weeks for a card to arrive has been difficult as I transitioned away from American Express. Having worked with MasterCard and Visa in the past, I am an accustomed to them not being able to deliver a card to you other than to your home of record. However, I would like to see Fidelity have the opportunity to expand services to facilitate people who work overseas and deliver a more prompt service to those workers who are overseas. It doesn’t seem like a huge stretch to send a credit card overnight overseas for a company who is probably making a 50% profit on the person using the card. Aside from the issues I’ve had from receiving a replacement card. I do appreciate the ability to use a Visa card that pays me over what a standard checking account in the United States pays and I get to keep the benefits of the card.

    I have been a Fidelity customer for 3 decades. I mostly use the iPad and iPhone apps for quick easy trades and status of holdings. They have an unwavering need to constantly change the screens very frequently. To me, the app wasn’t broken and didn’t need frequent tinkering. Now for me, it’s basically unusable. Whatever narrow demographic they are catering to, it’s not mine. Yes, I can still access the app on the internet and it is still the same, but it takes longer and is less convenient. If they are going to keep making changes, they need to offer the option to continue using the former screen configurations. Addendum: My point I this: you have several different constituencies of investors that frequently your iOS app for different reasons. You have taken steps to offer different screen configurations. My suggestion is that you take this further and allow each user to construct their profile to have the opening screen show exactly what they want. I want the opening screen to show all positions in all accounts in a list where I can sort any column containing the overview fields. I want to be able to go directly to a trading screen where I can quickly execute an option trade without having to go through several screens to input the trade parameters I already know I want. This used to be in the app but if it’s still there somewhere, I can’t find it. And PLEASE bring back the notes field! I use it to track where I got the recommendation for the trade. Thank you!
