I found the voice acting that you can't turn off and the scrolling niconico style text in cutscenes annoying. I couldn't find a setting to turn those off, and I'm not going to subject myself to that. I also found the writing to be awful. I don't think mobile phones are great for mmos. there's a pc version, but pop-in and texture loading is hilariously bad. I wasn't able to deal with this for long enough to tell if it's actually a decent game. Bad first impression for me overall.

It is a great game, full of nostalgia, and certainly keeps you busy. However, the fact that your premium subscription prices are PER CHARACTER is insane to me. $24.99 for the highest tier is insane to me. You would have to pay $75 a month to cover your account. That is more than a premium game PER MONTH. There are several other MMOs that give you more content and provide you with the premium features to ALL your characters with a single fee that is generally much less than $24.99.

it's classic ragnarok, with an INSANE amount of microtransactions and better graphics. seriously, your head will spin. it's almost like, "How did they do that?" There's that many. it is, however, a very solid game, and you don't necessarily NEED to buy them, but you will certainly feel it if you don't. It is easily the most aggressively monetized microtransaction game that has come out in a very long time, but it's also ragnarok, and it's great. especially once you get built up a bit
