This is a 2nd review. Issues mentioned in my 1st review are now irrelevant, as they have been corrected. I will say that support has been 1st class. Now that I've put some serious time into building my railroad, the overall game has gotten much better as compared to my 1st review which was after 2 weeks of play. There is a fair amount of inventory management, but also city building, and passenger lines. There are events starting as a previous one ends, almost non stop. Adding a 4th star.

Great potential killed by being a money grab. This game is very promising but as others have stated their pricing for some of the in game items is OUTRAGEOUS. When you're not waiting for fuel or maintenance the game is captivating but I would rather be waiting for a job to complete than to be waiting to send another train. From what I've read maintenance "costs" alone for the trains as the game progresses get ridiculous. I considered buying the starter pack but this game seems too greedy

As other reviewers have said, this is a major step backwards. All the hype from TS2, YT, etc. made us believe it would be a huge improvement from the previous two versions, NOPE! Not worth it. Play Railroad Empire instead. Much more fun and this seems to rip their idea off with poor execution. TS2 also has become a cash grab. They have so much stupid money they can make videos of their real life replica. All the while you could get more out of Steam's Trains Sims. So sad!
