Love it
I love everything about NY1, watching “In the Papers” every day, EXCEPT the stations biased Democratic Liberal views. From your political reporters, who are totally biased, to even your hosts Pat Kiernan & his sidekicks, I am sick of listening to it. If I wanted a biased news report, I would watch Fox News or CNN, depending on which side of the political spectrum I am on. Why can’t NY1 just present the news, unbiased from one side of politics. I have refused many times to give up my Spectrum cable service to FIOS, etc. but I am nearing my breaking point.

For the most part this app works great. However, I am having a bug with the app and can't find anywhere to report it or solutions to fix it. When looking at the weather for one location, it does fantastic. When I look for a second location it shows me closures for the first location. That isn't helpful when looking at the second location as it's a completely different state. If someone could please fix this bug it would be 5 stars!

Hate itNotifications
I installed this app for news and weather. The weather function is great. The news leaves a lot to be desired. I often tap on a notification about a news story, only to have the app not load the story. It just takes me to the Home Screen of the app. It doesn’t even list the article in the app. This happens with brand new notifications. It’s frustrating to be offered a story by this news app, then not be able to access it or find it anywhere in the app. I guess I’ll find another app for news and turn off notifications for Spectrum’s app.
