Subject: Feedback & Feature Request: Darkness and Torchlight in Dark and Darker Mobile Dear Dark and Darker Mobile Dev Team, First of all, thank you for bringing the intense and unique dungeon-crawling experience to mobile. It’s amazing to see such a bold and atmospheric concept being adapted to a portable platform. However, I wanted to kindly request the inclusion of deeper darkness and dynamic lighting — similar to what we love in the original PC version. The darkness in the PC game, combined with torchlight and limited visibility, creates tension and immersion like no other. That feeling of fear, strategy, and dependence on light is something I (and many others) really miss in the mobile version. I fully understand the limitations of mobile hardware and the need to reach a broad audience. But perhaps a special “Hardcore Mode” or “Night Dungeon” with low visibility and torch-based lighting could be an optional feature for players who want the classic experience. This would make the game feel even more atmospheric, strategic, and rewarding — and bring back the unique soul of Dark and Darker. Thank you again for your work and for listening to the community. In my honest opinion, what a terribly designed game. If anyone has played the pc version they’d know that for the most part there’s a lot of ways to obtain loot and at least have the chance to put up a fight when it comes to pvp. This game, however, completely throws out all basic rules. It has no cap on stat padding and the classes are completely one sided. Barbarians are out of control overpowered. Jump slam spamming is ridiculous and they have insane reach. So much so that its almost impossible to avoid unless you have high movement speed. The game has the worst stat system. You have stat padding with your collection, stat padding with your skill tree, and stat padding with the new rune system. Theres no sort of balance or fairness whatsoever. They singlehandedly killed this game and have made no changes in the right direction to fix it. If anything its just gone backwards. If they had just made it more closely aligned with the pc version and just added something different in the sense of like a different dungeon with new bosses and regularly scaling gear/stats this game would easily be the best mobile dungeon crawler there is. I hope that they fix it because i enjoy dark and darker, but for now don’t waste your time, don’t waste your money, don’t waste your storage space. The game is already dead. The trading market had no life and for new players you just get steamrolled by people abusing their cushy padding and class meta.

Fantastic game that’s truly one of a kind. Be it from the unique skills allotted to each character, or the passives that allow for full control on how your skills work! I beta tested the pc version from the start, although it’s different, they still some how made it just as great! Not too cash grabby, and as long as you use your brain, you’ll progress without spending a dime. Being able to do things solo or in a group is great, and group content is always a toss up haha, you’ll find some randoms that will help you, while others will just loot everything while you fight. I will say that this game isn’t for those who have gear fear, or the over attachment to gear. You will die, you will loose everything you had on you, and you’ll like it. The risk of knowing you practically bursting with loot, and your in a fight for your life as you struggle to get to the exit portal, is intoxicating.
